Chinese Cultural Figures (Reporter Su Qing) China and Japan share close geographical proximity, people-to-people relations, and cultural affinities, with a long history of cultural exchanges. The year 2023 marks the 45th anniversary of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship Between China and Japan. Aaron Culture is a comprehensive cultural company that encompasses five major fields: theatrical stage performances, Peking opera training, curatorial and exhibition planning for various art forms, film and television planning and production, as well as sports venue operation. Aaron Culture's core philosophy is "learning by doing, and the unity of knowledge and action." The company is dedicated to preserving traditional culture, promoting the fusion of diverse cultures, and continually seeking innovation.

Drama, as one of the ancient cultural heritages of human society, contains rich philosophical ideas, ethical principles, and value concepts. In recent years, there has been an increasingly frequent exchange of traditional Chinese and Japanese performing arts, and Peking Opera, as a representative of Chinese theater, is gaining more and more attention and popularity among the Japanese people. Peking Opera is a theatrical performing art that integrates singing, recitation, acting, and martial arts. It uses a combination of hand gestures, eye movements, body postures, techniques, and footwork to convey historical, political, social, and everyday life contexts. Through these elements, it expresses the aesthetic principles of traditional Chinese society in dramatic form and has become a significant medium for representing the cultural image of the Chinese nation and a widely recognized national cultural symbol among the Chinese people. Tokyo Aaron Culture Co., Ltd., leveraging the resources of its parent company in Japan, has established training classrooms in Tokyo for Peking opera, Kunqu opera, and traditional Chinese musical instruments. It has also introduced the Chinese Peking opera grading system to Japan, with the aim of attracting Japanese children and youths to learn Chinese opera art, fostering mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the two countries. In addition, its parent company, Shanghai Aaron Culture Group, has meticulously crafted the opera performance brand ‘The Trilogy of Ancient Women's Love Story,’ which has garnered widespread attention and acclaim domestically. The first-season performances are led by young Peking opera artist Han Yijia, featuring three plays: “The Story of Su San,” “Defending the Country, Visiting the Imperial Tomb, and Entering the Imperial Palace Again,” and “Song of Brilliant Lady.” At present, Tokyo Aaron Culture is planning a tour of “The Trilogy of Ancient Women's Love Story” in Japan, which is expected to bring outstanding and spectacular performances to everyone by the end of next year.

Advancing cultural exchanges between China and Japan holds great potential for both countries' artists and cultural institutions. The Aaron Culture Art Museum will provide a broad stage for artists from both countries to showcase their works and exchange ideas, who together will endeavor to create a new chapter in cultural exchanges between the two countries.
