Chinese Cultural Figures (Reporter Su Qing) On April 7, “Images of China -- Exhibition of Paintings by Han Yuchen,” sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of Belarus, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, and the Belarusian Union of Artists, was grandly opened at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus. This is not only the first exhibition held by Han Yuchen in Belarus but also the first offline exhibition held by Chinese painters in Minsk after three years of the epidemic, marking the resumption of cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Belarus, which was interrupted by the epidemic. Han Yuchen's Tibet-themed oil paintings show Tibetan ethnic customs and simple and persistent spiritual attainment from different angles. In his thank-you speech, artist Han Yuchen introduced his rough course of pursuing art for decades and vowing to fulfill the painter's dream. He shared his experience when he went deep into Tibetan areas to sketch and collect painting materials dozens of times. Although he put himself in danger several times, he still painted with perseverance. He expounded his exploration and pursuit of excavating the value of Tibetan national art and presenting Tibet's unique aesthetic connotation and spiritual characteristics with realistic expression. Han Yuchen's emotional narration won warm applause from the audience.

Finally, with earnest expectations, the guests attending the opening ceremony cut the ribbon for the exhibition.
This exhibition is another wonderful appearance of Han Yuchen's Tibet-themed oil paintings abroad after exhibitions held in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and other countries. The 32 works on display are divided into four series: grassland grazing, daily life, religious belief, and personal portrait, which objectively reproduce the life picture of plateau people under the sun from multiple angles.

It is reported that after the exhibition closes on May 2, it will be moved to the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg for exhibition.
